UK-built Nissan Note now available to order

Nissan Note 260613

Customers looking for a new small car may want to take note of Nissan’s latest offiering.

The order books for Note, built in Sunderland, are now open as the Japanese car maker reveals details of specifications and prices.

Safety is an important factor in the new car, and Nissan has adopted many of the technologies from its ‘Safety Shield’, such as the Around View Monitor, which offers drivers a 360° bird’s-eye view of the car on a screen.

Included on all models are engine stop/start technology, electric front windows, remote central locking, and cruise control. Depending on specifications, customers can also choose air-con, Bluetooth connectivity, automatic lights and wipers, and a leather steering wheel. The  range-topping Tekna is also available with an £800 styling pack, which includes, amongst other things, unique alloy wheels, and deeper front and rear aprons.

Three engine choices will be offered: a 79bhp three-cylinder 1.2-litre; a 97bhp turbo 1.2-litre; and a 1.5-litre diesel, with 89bhp.

Prices for the new Nissan Note start at £11,900 OTR for the entry-level Visia, with Tekna variants from £15,950 OTR.
