More MINI models to get all-wheel-drive systems

MINI ALL4 tech 030613

MINI has announced that it is bringing its all-wheel-drive technology, ALL4, to more models. By deploying the system on its Cooper Countryman and the Cooper Paceman, the manufacturer will offer ALL4 on a total of 10 variants.

Already standard in the John Cooper Works Countryman and Paceman, ALL4 will be an option on the ‘standard’ vehicles from July 2013.

ALL4 offers enhanced traction and stability, designed when tackling snow, sand or slippery surfaces. The system, which also distributes drive force between the front and rear axles, also offers extra grip when cornering.
