The latest, most economical Volkswagen Golf is now available to order. The Golf BlueMotion claims fuel consumption of up to 88.3mpg on the combined cycle, and CO2 emissions of 85g/km.
Those figures are a 15% improvement on the previous generation Golf BlueMotion, which 99g/km.
With its 50-litre fuel tank and 88.3mpg fuel consumption, BlueMotion drivers won’t have to visit the fuel station so often. The car has a theoretical range of 970 miles, meaning that, assuming an average annual driving distance of under 10,000 miles, most drivers will only have to refuel 10 times a year.
