Details of the revised Škoda Superb have been announced by the Czech manufacturer. Hatch and estate versions of the brand’s flagship model will feature upgraded interiors and exteriors, while lower fuel consumption and CO2 emissions have been promised.
The range starts at £18,555 (OTR) for the 1.4-litre TSI 125PS S hatch, with the base diesel model coming in at £19,760 (OTR). At the opposite end of the spectrum, the Laurin & Klement estate model, powered by a 260PS, 3.6-litre V6, with 4×4 and a six-speed DSG is priced from £34,430 (OTR). There is a £1,125 premium for the estate over the hatch.
Škoda says the Superb engines are up to 19% more economical than the outgoing motors, while a GreenLine version offers emissions of only 109g/km of CO2.
The Škoda Superb will be on sale in the UK from 17 July 2013.
