Renault reveals Scenic specifications and pricing

Renault Scénic 190613

Having made their debut earlier in the year at the Geneva Motor Show, the Renault Scénic and Grand Scénic prices and specifications have been revealed.

There is a choice of three petrol engines and two diesels. The petrol units range from a 110bhp 1.6-litre to the 1.2-litre turbo with 130bhp. Diesel fans have the option of a 110bhp 1.5-litre or 130bhp 1.6-litre. Particularly impressive is the 1.5, which returns 68.9mpg and emits just 105g/km of CO2, according to the manufacturer.

A total of seven option packs are available, the ultimate being the BOSE+. The remaining six offer a number of features such as a rear parking camera with front sensors, a lane departure warning system, five fully adaptable headrests, dark carbon leather and a sliding centre console.

The Scénic range will also feature XMOD, described by Renault as “a more rugged variant” of the French brand’s MPV.

Bespoke wheels and black roof bars help it stand out from the standard car, while it is also the first Renault to feature the Grip Xtend traction control system. Drivers choose from road, loose ground and expert modes, each setting optimising the suspension and braking characteristics.

The XMOD is priced from £17,955 OTR, while the Scénic and Grand Scenic ranges start at £19,155 and £20,355 OTR, respectively.
