Following its record month for sales in May, Kia has more good news to report, after passing half a million UK registrations. The 500,000vehicle sales date back to 1991, when the Korean manufacturer entered the UK market.
To date, sales in 2013 for Kia are 30,441 vehicles, an increase of more than 10% on the same period last year. The company’s year-to-date market share stands at 3.21%.
The 500,000th Kia sold in the UK was a cee’d ‘4’ 1.6 CRDi hatchback. It was purchased by a couple from Leicester, from Kia’s Sandicliffe Leicester dealership.
