Fans of US muscle cars will be pleased to hear that Chevrolet has confirmed its Corvette Stingray will be on sale in the UK by the end of the year.
The special edition Corvette has the most powerful standard engine ever produced by the Amercian brand; the 6.2-litre LT1 V8 offering 460bhp and 630Nm of torque. Working with a 7-speed automatic transmission, this powertrain helps the car achieve a sub-4 second zero to 60mph time.
The car comes complete with the Z51 performance pack, which includes magnetic ride control suspension and a traction management system. It also boasts larger wheels, tyres and brakes than the standard Corvette, not to mention a number of other enhancements for increased driving pleasure.
The Chevrolet Corvette Stingray will be in dealerships by the autumn, priced from £61,495.
