Ahead of its arrival in the UK, Mercedes-Benz has given more power to its E 63 AMG with the addition of an ‘S’ model. The 585bhp and 800Nm of torque now available make the car – available in saloon and estate versions – the fastest E-Class ever offered in the UK.
Compared with the standard E 63 AMG model, the new range-topper adds 28bhp and 80Nm, and reaches 62mph from a standard start 0.1 seconds faster (4.1 seconds for the saloon and 4.2 seconds for the estate).
Combined fuel consumption is figured at 28.5mpg/28.3mpg (saloon/estate), and the car emits 232g/km of CO2 (234 for the estate version).
Priced from £83,740 OTR (saloon) and £85,530 OTR (estate), the E 63 AMG will be available to order in the UK from June.
