Being touted as a car “to revitalise the brand’s position in the ultra-competitive, compact family hatchback segment”, Peugeot has unveiled its 308.
On the outside the new Focus-rival adopts the family face, with an interpretation of the company’s ‘floating’ front grille, and LED lights front and rear.
The French manufacturer has also adopted a fresh look to the interior, with a new 9.7in touchscreen interface replacing many of the buttons that have adorned Peugeot dashboards in the recent past.
A more engaging driving experience is also being promised, with 308 riding on a new, lighter, platform, improving the car’s steering and comfort.
Revealed to the public at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, the new Peugeot is expected to go on sale in the UK in early 2014.
